Why should I have a private yoga session?

Have you ever been in a yoga class and wondered if you are breathing right or doing a posture correctly?  Have you wondered why the person next to you is doing an Up-Dog or other posture differently than you are?  Have you ever wondered what else is out there for your yoga practice beyond your mat?  Sometimes we all need a little extra private attention.  We can help you answer these questions and develop your yoga practice so you can allow yourself to truly be in your practice without wondering “Am I doing this right?”

What are the benefits?

There is no doubt yoga works, but in a typical yoga class there is so much information flying around and people moving in different ways that it can often be a distraction from being in your own practice.  We will help you to develop whatever aspect of your practice you would like to work on, including postures, breath, meditation or bringing yoga from your mat and into your life.  Private yoga sessions can help your practice grow leaps and bounds with just one session.  We can tailor a session to focus on any part of your practice you would like to learn more about.

We can come to your home or yoga space or you can visit us at our home studio.  Private Sessions are $60/hour, depending on our teacher’s schedule and session location.  For your first private session we offer you a 1.5 hour session at the price of the regular hour.
